One of my biggest mistakes in planning my wedding was not hiring a videographer. I hired a photographer and figured that would be enough. BIG MISTAKE!! If I could only go back in time I would have placed a videographer on the top of my necessity list. Often people think, "if there is extra money" we will get a videographer. One thing people who are planning a wedding don't realize is the day you spend so much time planning you miss about 75% of the events and activities going on. The day flies by So Fast and by the end of the day you only have a few pieces to hold on to. Photos are good but Cannot be replayed to exactly recapture special moments, emotions and the events that were missed at your wedding. I love that I have photos but I am so envious of couples who had a videographer. I happen to be at a wedding where Chris Da Silva was the videographer and I was Very impressed not only by his professionalism and how involved he was in his work but I was very impressed by the outcome of the DVD. When I watched the DVD I was in tears not only because it was so well put together but because I did not have a DVD to replay to relive my special day from time to time. The DVD along with the music keeps the emotions so fresh, vivid in your mind. As a bride-to-be this is something you will forever cherish and value. I like to tell brides-to-be, you can see a picture of the day your fiance proposed but it is far different to watch a DVD and relive those precious moments as if it was happening again exactly how it happened. You can flip through pictures from time to time but watching a DVD of your wedding is so different. I love my pictures but I know in time I will forget the moments, emotions that lead to the picture or funny, happy moments that happened after. With a DVD you can never forget the wonderful moments, emotions of your big day. I always tell Brides-to-be at the end of the day all the money you spend on the food, cake is gone, the flowers and centerpieces are tossed but the photos and DVD are the only thing that you can take away from the wedding to have true, everlasting memories. Words of advise: Don't put a videographer on the bottom of the list or on the "Extras" list.
It is important to get a videographer for your wedding but even more important is to obtain a great, qualified videographer. I have seen Chris's work and his shine above many other wedding videos I have seen. Chris Da Silva's previous work can speak for itself. He is a Great videographer with expertise in his field but also he has a love for what he does and it shows in his work. I was impressed by his professionalism and his outstanding work. Make sure you don't make the mistake I did, get a videographer and make sure you book your wedding with Chris Da Silva, you will not regret it!
      Sincerely,
      Monica, a regretful bride
